CHIPCHIP Biweekly Report #18: September 30 to October 13 2024
Welcome to the 18th edition of the CHIPCHIP Biweekly Report.
Over the past two weeks, we have continued to focus on game development, specifically working on features within the lobby mode. Internally, we have also begun testing some of the completed features.
Design Updates
In terms of design, we successfully completed the VIP Benefits page and the design for paid player avatars last week. Detailed previews can be found in the main section below.
Website Updates
The CHIPCHIPBOX Swap feature is now live on our official website https://chipchip.io/. Users can access the Swap page directly here: https://chipchip.io/displacement.

Common Issues with CHIPCHIPBOX Swap
Several players have successfully completed the CHIPCHIPBOX Swap. Based on community feedback, we’ve collected and addressed some common issues players are encountering during the process:
- Long Waiting Time
The Swap process requires confirmation that the Destruction address has received your CHIPCHIPBOX before sending the equivalent amount to your Solana address. Due to the slow transaction speed of the BTC network, this process may take 2 to 8 hours. Please be patient, and you can monitor the progress through a BTC blockchain explorer. - “Server Internal Error” Message
The Swap operation requires requests to the BRC420 API. Frequent requests may be rejected, leading to this error. If you are using a UniSat wallet, we recommend switching to OKX wallet, as our testing has shown that OKX wallet does not trigger this issue. - “Network Error” Message
This error occurs when the wrong network is selected in your wallet. Make sure that your wallet is set to the BTC network before proceeding with the Swap. You can change the network in your wallet settings. - CHIPCHIPBOX Not Displayed in Solana Wallet
This issue primarily affects OKX wallet users. Due to limited support for the Solana network in OKX, some users have encountered display errors. You can connect your wallet to MagicEden and check your assets there. Alternatively, use a wallet with better Solana support, such as Phantom Wallet.
Design Progress
We have completed the design for the VIP Benefits page. The VIP system offers players a range of perks, including exclusive avatars, avatar frames, VIP badges, SNG tickets, additional points, extra daily lottery entries, and game merchandise. Players can increase their VIP level by accumulating in-game activity, unlocking more rewards as they progress.
We also finalized the design for paid player avatars. These avatars feature fun and recognizable characters from the world of politics, business, sports, cryptocurrency, and poker, allowing players to express their individuality in-game.
