CHIPCHIP Biweekly Report #19: October 14 to October 27 2024

Welcome to the 19th CHIPCHIP Biweekly Report.

Over the past two weeks, alongside continued game development, we introduced several new features to enrich gameplay details and enhance the player experience.

Here’s a detailed overview of these new updates:

PWA Version

We’ve added a PWA (Progressive Web App) version to CHIPCHIP. PWAs are web applications that function across devices, allowing players to access CHIPCHIP directly from their browser without needing to download an app. By selecting “Add to Home Screen,” players can easily access CHIPCHIP as they would with a native app. Compared to traditional apps, the PWA version is lighter, enables real-time updates and notifications, and allows players to enjoy Texas Hold’em anytime, anywhere.

Optimized Auto-Buy Feature

Auto-buy is a function designed to reduce repetitive buy-ins for players. Previously, auto-rebuy and auto-reload were separate features. However, internal testing revealed some confusion with this structure, leading us to redesign the feature.
The optimized auto-buy feature now merges auto-rebuy and auto-reload into a single setting, allowing players to adjust buy-in thresholds and amounts with a simple slider. For example, if set to 80% and 100%, the system will automatically reload a player’s chips to the maximum buy-in if they fall below 80%. Similarly, if set to 0% and 50%, chips will automatically reload to 50% of the max buy-in when reaching zero.

Verifiable Random Shuffle

We have introduced a verifiable random shuffling feature, allowing players to verify the randomness of each shuffle. Before each hand, the deck is shuffled using a random number generator, and the hash of the shuffled card sequence is recorded on the blockchain. After the hand, the shuffled sequence is revealed, and players can verify the hash to ensure no interference occurred during the shuffle.

New Pro Badge

We’ve added a unique Pro badge to represent skilled players on the platform. This badge helps professional players stand out and enhances their competitive image, while also allowing other players to identify top players in the game and adding an extra layer of challenge.

Guest Mode

Our new Guest Mode enables new users to quickly explore the platform’s core gameplay without needing to register. Guest Mode allows players to experience most of CHIPCHIP’s features, excluding those involving accounts and funds. This way, new users can fully understand CHIPCHIP’s game environment before making a commitment to register.

Spin Design Completed

The visual design for the Spin feature is complete. The Spin is a rewards feature in CHIPCHIP, where players can earn free spins by accumulating hands played or generating turnover. Rewards include USDT, SNG tickets, and points.
